John composed each of these “musical poems” while on journeys far and near - impressions of traveling such as on a ferry in the harbor of Dun Loaghaire while viewing a silhouette of Dublin in the sunset, or riding in a lonely Northwest boxcar on a starlit night, or flying in a small aircraft lost in a storm but at peace in a prayer. The complimentary colors of piano, violin, cello, tin whistle, and voices join with the lyrical tones of John's unique 20-string harp guitar to create a reflective mood.
