Secondhand 2010 Jeff Sigurdson Harp Guitar
Another chance at this modern
Dyer-style instrument that I originally commissioned and sold in 2010.
Near mint and still one of the best values I've ever found!

Hey, I remember this one! In 2010 - before the days of more affordable Timberline and other harp guitars - I was struggling to find professional grade fine-sounding instruments that my prospective buyers might be able to more easily afford. I found all that in Canadian Jeff Sigurdson. He happily agreed to supply me with new instruments as he could fit them in to his schedule (I believe I sold three or four total). They sounded and played like boutique instruments twice their price. My original listing (when it was brand new) is here. Having had this one in hand I can obviously vouch for its quality. In fact, I imagine its tone can only have improved with age. Even its color seems to have become so much richer. My original photos are on the left, while the current owner's photos are on the right. These - including some without strings - show its current condition, which is all but mint. Its only two ultra-minor defects are shown below - a slight scuff in the back of the harp arm curve and a ding on the back edge. AND - the instrument has since been improved with the addition of dual pickups, one for each bank of strings. (Brand unknown, but tested). At the time, this was Jeff's most affordable instrument he could make - stripped down in appointments, but with the same fit and finish and tone. And it's still affordable. However, since Jeff's harp guitars are currently $10,000 Canadian dollars (~$7265 USD as we speak), and this one is still near mint with added pickups, the current price is in line with today's reality. And the reality is, it's quite a leap better than the three most popular affordable harp guitar brands today (you know what they are, yes?) and a bargain compared to other builders of similar quality. It comes with my original HGM Colorado Case gig bag (in black) and will be safely shipped from Georgia. Full 2-3 day approval period applies (returnable at your expense). You owe it to yourself to read my original listing and come back to this one to vet all the photos and send me a note! - Gregg (Sir Gregory) Miner |
